Cowrie Shell Ash (Varatika) is well known for its antacid and digestive properties that are useful in the treatment of gastritis, hyperacidity, heartburn and duodenitis.
Indian Gooseberry
Indian Gooseberry (Amalaki) effectively reduces the acid and pepsin content in the stomach. At the same time, it increases the mucin, cellular mucus and life span of gastric mucosal cells, which helps in healing stomach ulcers. As an antioxidant, Indian Gooseberry protects the gastric mucosa from oxidative damage.

The main ingredient of Himcocid is Kapardak (Varatika) Bhasma, which is potent antacid.

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS HIMALAYA HIMCOCID SYRUP
Himcocid is beneficial in following diseases:

DOSAGE HIMALAYA HIMCOCID SYRUP

* Himcocid should be taken after meal twice a day.
The maximum daily total dosage should not exceed from 10 teaspoons.
CAUTION & SIDE EFFECTS HIMALAYA HIMCOCID SYRUP
However, it is POSSIBLY SAFE in most individuals when taken in recommended dosage.
We have observed increase in pain in patients suffering with Rheumatoid Arthritis after taking Himcocid. Therefore, people with Rheumatoid Arthritis should not to take Himcocid.
Action:
Relieves gastrointestinal discomfort: Due to its ulcer-healing and gastroprotective properties. Himcocid-SF combat ulcers and gastritis. It neutralizes gastric acid, relieves gaseous distension and bilious and dyspeptic symptoms.
